On Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th, we’ll be heading down to the Birmingham NEC, Stand H46R for the 21st TCT Show. The show, focussed on 3D printing and additive manufacturing plays host to large and small 3d printer manufacturers, shoulder to shoulder with printing bureaux services, educational institutions, software developers, materials manufacturers and a host more. Given our flagship products, RenderFab and GrabIt – we’re be proud to display for the first time at this year’s TCT Show and to present our product RenderFab in TCT’s StartUp Zone.
If you don’t already know, RenderFab is our patent-pending automated model processing software, taking any form of 3D data and automatically optimising it to be 3D printable. That includes the common optimisations such as ensuring watertightness, correct vertex orientation and similar. However, RenderFab also allows more complex processing, such as hollowing of complex models, joining orphan parts, rejecting unwanted parts, strengthening and reinforcing weak parts, or thin walls and more. We’ll be bringing along some models that have been processed with RenderFab to demonstrate the capabilities and versatility of RenderFab, so stop by Stand H46R to check them out!
Similarly, we’ll also be demonstrating GrabIt – originally conceived as a way to capture video game data and share it prior to processing by RenderFab, GrabIt has grown past that original concept into a content sharing – allowing 3D content to be uploaded, viewed and interacted with in a 3D viewer. This content can also be monetised, allowing 3D prints to be bought of a model.
On Wednesday, Joe will be presenting RenderFab as part of the TCT startup competition, so please come and join us for his pitch at 3pm! Can’t make that time? Throughout both days of the show, Joe, Simon and Andrew will also be at Stand H46R [near the Tech Stage] to discuss what clients can achieve with our patent-pending automated model processing technology, RenderFab, and our GrabIt model capture plugins, and GrabIt model display and hosting portal.
Not only that, but we have also worked alongside Photocentric to help prototype and develop their touchscreen UIs for both of their new Daylight Resin 3D Printers, the Liquid Crystal HR, and the Liquid Crystal Pro.
These exciting new 3D printers use Photocentric’s daylight curing resin to produce high resolution, detailed 3D prints with a range of physical properties and colours, at a very attractive price point, and we’re proud to have offered our support to Photocentric in bringing the new printers to TCT.
You’ll be able to see the printers at the show on Photocentric’s booth, Stand C34!
We look forward to seeing you there if you’re attending the show, and if you’re not attending, but are interested in either GrabIt or RenderFab – please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
